They headlined the Tramuntana Rocks Festival, and it shouldn’t have been any other way. The Satellites band, which was formed in 1996 and has threealbums under its belt, continues to enchant the Mallorcan and international audiences with its signature form of experimental rock. Among their influences, they cite The Doors, The Velvet Underground, The Cure etc., and delight us with a really cool repertoire of songs in both English and Spanish. The band line-up has changed over the years and is currently comprised of Jordi Herrera, Dani Spies, Alex Sancho and José Miguel Puigserver, who we saw on stage at the Tramuntana Rocks, held this past 2nd of August. And again, as it always happens, they left us all mesmerized, thus proving once more that The Satellites remain one of the leading bands in the Mallorcan music scene.
